About This Programme

Computer System Operational Level 3(TVET) is a one-year full-time TVET programme offered at Meritus College, Kuala Lumpur. Accredited by the Department of Skills Development (JPK) under the Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA), the programme is designed for individuals aged 15 to 45 who wish to develop practical ICT and computer systems skills.

The programme emphasizes a hands-on learning approach, with 70% practical training and 30% theoretical instruction. Students gain real-world experience in computer system setup, maintenance and repair, server installation and maintenance, network connectivity, and mobile device configuration. Additional modules in entrepreneurship, employability skills, and Business English help prepare graduates for the workplace.

Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and easily accessible via MRT and LRT services, Meritus College provides students with a convenient learning environment. Financial assistance, including loans and monthly allowances, is available through the Skills Development Fund Corporation (PTPK) under KESUMA.

Graduates are equipped to pursue careers in IT support, system administration, infrastructure management, network operations, and cybersecurity support. The Course

Entry Requirements

For Malaysian Students

All of the following:

  • Minimum age 16 years old
  • Completed Form 3 (PMR/PT3) or equivalent
  • Able to read and write in Bahasa Malaysia or English

Subjects Offered

The Operational System Computer course modules are accredited by the Malaysian Skill Department. All lectures are qualified and endorsed through the Malaysian Skill Department. The module design follows a 30% Theory and 70% Practical method. The 7 CU-modules are aligned with industry needs:
