Gym & Sports Facilities

MERITUS strongly upholds the principle of “a healthy body, a healthy mind.” Our gym is equipped with essential fitness equipment to support cardiovascular training, strength conditioning, and overall physical wellness. Students are encouraged to maintain an active lifestyle as part of their academic journey.

In addition, students have access to sports and recreational activities, including pickleball, which promotes agility, coordination, and social interaction. These facilities—both on campus and nearby—provide opportunities to unwind, build resilience, and cultivate discipline through physical activity.

Student Accommodation

Our student accommodation is designed with comfort, safety, and convenience in mind. Training Vessels

Training vessels play a vital role in maritime education by giving students hands-on experience in real conditions. While classroom learning builds theory, these vessels allow practical application under experienced instructors. Equipped with navigation and engine systems, they simulate commercial ship operations.

Students develop skills in navigation, maintenance, and safety, alongside teamwork, communication, and leadership. Regular emergency drills strengthen preparedness. Overall, training vessels bridge theory and practice, building competence, discipline, and confidence for maritime careers.

Our Aircrafts

Our training fleet comprises 20 aircraft: 11 Diamond DA-40, 5 Diamond DA-42 Twin Star, and 4 Diamond DA-40 NG. These modern single- and twin-engine aircraft provide safe and reliable platforms for pilot training. They support ab initio to advanced flight instruction, including navigation, instrument flying, and multi-engine operations. Equipped with advanced avionics, they ensure cadets gain real-world cockpit experience, operational competence, and confidence for professional aviation careers.

Aircraft simulators

Aircraft simulators are essential in aviation training, offering a realistic and safe environment for skill development. They replicate cockpit systems and flight conditions, allowing trainees to practise take-offs, landings, navigation, and emergencies such as engine failure. This improves technical skills, decision-making, and situational awareness. Repeated practice builds confidence and reduces errors. Simulators also enhance teamwork and communication in multi-crew settings. They are cost-effective and environmentally friendly, preparing pilots for real-world aviation operations.

Canteen

The canteen reflects the diversity of our student community. It offers a variety of cuisines from both East and West, catering to different tastes, cultures, and dietary preferences. From familiar comfort meals to lighter, wholesome options, the canteen is a lively space where students gather, recharge, and connect. Surau

The campus surau provides a dedicated space for students, faculty, and staff to perform their daily prayers in a peaceful and welcoming environment.
